Looking Through a Glass Darkly

Looking Through a Glass Darkly

[This is a guest post by Jacob Teitelbaum, M.D.]

Life on Earth has been likened to  “looking through a glass darkly,” where the truth beyond our day-to-day life has been veiled. It’s been like a horse with blinders allowing us to see just a small part of reality and not the larger picture.

This has served a purpose. Just as we choose to tune out the outside reality we call “life” while watching a movie in a movie theatre, our brains have been calibrated to “tune out” most of a much larger reality as we each “star” in the movie of our own lives. This has served the important purpose of allowing us to express and experience who we are through our life choices, and learning, growing and changing as we see the results of our actions. It has given us the opportunity to “Know Thyself.”

So this limited awareness serves a purpose — to a point. Just as those watching a horror movie don’t want someone in the audience shouting “It’s just a movie,” most people have tuned out those who speak of a larger reality. But after a while, it’s a relief when the horror movie finishes and we remember that it was just a movie. This is also a good thing even for the best of movies, where it needs to finish so we can savor and learn from the experience. It is a very good thing.

The time is coming now, where our awareness of our larger reality is growing. It has been available throughout the millennia by using tools available in each religion. These tools  have included  the rosary, prayers of Christianity, the Shema Yisroel and s’moneh esreh prayers in Judaism, mantra meditation in Buddhism and Hinduism, and the Zikr chants in Islam. These are all used to raise and expand peoples’ frequencies so they can see things that normally are over the horizon. It’s kind of like climbing a mountain, where you can see far beyond the horizon that is present at sea level.

The good news? As the rate of change and growth accelerates, our planet is raising in frequency to where we will be able to see beyond our old limits. Just as the cable TV box is set to allow you to view a limited number of channels, our brains do the same. But the settings can be changed on both to allow more channels.

This is what is happening more and more planet wide.

Are you ready to expand beyond your original programming? It’s going to be amazing!
